Overview:
Stylish vintage Art Deco era polychrome enamel portrait ring (circa 1930s) crafted in 18 karat yellow gold.
Polychrome enamel measures 23mm x 7.5mm. The enamel shows minor abrasions visible under a 10x loupe.
The portrait of a woman is characteristic of jewelry from the region of Limoges, France. We acquired the ring on a recent trip to Italy. The polychrome enamel is bright with luminous pink and yellow details. The navette shaped cocktail ring makes a nice statement on the hand. The low rise ring (3mm - 0.11 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
