Overview:
Finely detailed vintage Art Deco drop necklace (circa 1920s to 1930s), crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
The drop is set with carved jade measuring an25mm x 17mm. The jade is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
The die-struck necklace features intricate and lacy filigree detail. The chain is comprised of small square panels that each measure 7mm x 4mm. The necklace measures 15 inches and sits nicely at the nape of the neck. The large jade drop measures 2.25 x 0.90 inches (including the filigree panel) featuring a charming floral carving. The filigree necklace was very popular during the era and is a wonderful example of Art Deco era jewelry. It would make an ideal gift to the bride or a special piece of antique jewelry to pass down through the generations.
The necklace is in very good original condition. It has not been cleaned in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
