Stylish vintage opal & diamond ring (circa 1970s to 1980s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Cabochon cut opal measures 10mm x 8mm (estimated at 3 carats) is accented with eight estimated 0.01 carat diamonds. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.08 carats (estimated at H-I color and I1-2 clarity). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
The bezel set opal offers a good color matrix with flashes of green, yellow, purple and turquoise. The diamonds add a subtle shimmer to the side shoulders. The cocktail ring makes a nice statement on the hand. The low rise ring (5mm - 0.19inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
