Overview:
Finely detailed antique Victorian era turquoise & diamond ring (circa 1880s to 1900s) crafted in 10k yellow gold.
Cabochon cut turquoise measures 9mm x 6mm (estimated at 2 carats), accented with 40 old rose cut diamonds ranging in size from 0.01 to 0.02 carats. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.50 carats (estimated at I-J color and I1-2 clarity). Note: light surface abrasions to the turquoise (visible under a 10x loupe).
The turquoise is surrounded with a double halo of rose cut diamonds that offer a soft and subtle shimmer. The low rise ring (6.5mm - 0.25 inches) sits nicely on the finger. Ideal worn as an alternative engagement ring or a right hand ring for everyday wear.
The ring is good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
