Overview:
Finely detailed antique Victorian (circa 1880s to 1900s) bangle bracelet, crafted in 10k rose gold.
The crescent moon is a feminine symbol, representing the rhythm of time. The moon also symbolizes change as it turns to a full moon and back, much like the ebb and flow of life. In Victorian times brides often wore jewelry with a crescent moon motif on their honeymoon. The crescent moon & star is set with a graduation of seed pearls from 1/2 to 1.5mm. Quite a rare find to see the crescent moon and star motif in a bangle bracelet (more commonly found in brooches and stick pins).
The bangle is in excellent original condition.
