Finley detailed Cartier diamond elephant brooch crafted in 18k yellow gold (circa 1980s to 1990s)
Pave set diamonds total an estimated 0.50 carats (estimated at F-G color and VVS1-2 clarity). One small approx. 1mm ruby is set into the eye.
Cartier first created a diamond elephant brooch back in 1937 as a special commission piece and the elephant motif has been used by Cartier since then. Set with diamonds the brooch shimmers with every movement and is ideal pinned to a lapel, cuff or wherever you choose. The brooch is small in scale measuring 3/4 x 1/2 inch. No Cartier box or papers.
The brooch is in very good condition and was recently lightly cleaned and polished.
