Stylish and finely detailed vintage amethyst Tiffany & Co 'X' cross signature earrings, crafted in 18 karat yellow gold.
Pear cut amethysts measure 13mm x 8mm. The amethysts are in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
The signature cross earrings highlight removeable amethyst drops. The versatile earrings can be worn as stud earrings or with the amethyst drops attached for a glam look. Measuring 1 x 1/2 inch the earrings are great for day or evening wear. The earrings are fitted with posts and double hinged omega backings for pierced ears. The earrings are retired and no longer made by Tiffany & Co, circa 1990s.
The earrings are in very good original condition and were recently lightly cleaned and polished.
