Overview:
Stylish vintage opal & emerald cocktail ring crafted in 18 karat yellow gold (circa 1960s to 1970s).
The center opal measures 16mm x 12mm (estimated at 4 carats), accented with three estimated 0.03 carat emeralds. The opals is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
The natural opal exhibits a good color matrix in natural sunlight from green to orange, yellow, purple and turquoise. The cocktail ring is large in scale and makes a nice statement on the hand, with a celestial look that gives planetary vibes (we think Saturn's rings). The medium rise ring (13mm - 0.51 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
