Overview:
Stylish vintage amethyst cocktail ring (circa 1920s to 1930s) crafted in 10k & 14k karat yellow gold.
Faceted oval cut amethyst measures 18mm x 13mm (estimated at 12 carats). The amethyst is in good condition with a few light surface abrasions visible under a 10x loupe).
The rich royal purple amethyst is bezel set into a large oval mount, framed with rope style detailing. The cocktail ring makes a nice statement on the hand. The medium rise ring (10mm - 0.39 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
