Overview:
Stylish and finely detailed Art Deco black opal ring crafted in 14 karat white gold (circa 1920s to 1930s).
Black opal measures 20mm x 12mm. Note: the opal is internally crazed with a line evident to the base (see photos).
The pear shaped black opal lights up in a strong display of green, blue and purple color flashes. Set into an ornate filigree mount the ring is a feast for the eyes! The ring is great for wear during the day or for a glam evening look. The medium rise ring (8mm - 0.31 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in good condition and was recently light cleaned and polished.
