Cabochon cut opal measures 15.5mm x 11.5mm (estimated at 7 carats). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
The natural Ethiopian opal is cut in a high dome. The color matrix is vibrant with flashes of red, green, orange, yellow, turquoise and blue. In natural sunshine the opal really lights up with a kaleidoscope of colors mentioned above. The medium rise ring (14mm - 0.55 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
