Overview:
Stylish vintage opal & diamond cluster ring (circa 1970s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Natural opals measure 10mm x 4mm (estimated at 0.50 carats each - 4 carats total estimated weight). 11 round brilliant cut diamonds are estimated at 0.05 carats each and total an estimated 0.55 carats (estimated at G-H color and VS2-SI1 clarity). The opals are in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
The opals are full of color and fire (opals are difficult to photograph and the true colors of the opal does not show in the pictures). The color matrix is vivid from mermaid green to purple, blue, yellow, orange and turquoise. The statement ring adds a nice pop of color on the hand. The high rise ring (17mm - 0.66 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
