Celestial themed jewelry came to prominence during the Victorian era, with the allure of the moon a major theme in jewelry design. Beautifully carved, the moonstone face flashes with a vibrant and distinct blue glow with every movement of the ring. Bordering the moonstone are rubies and sapphires, a distinct color pop t the luminous center stone. The ring is one of the best examples of Victorian carved moonstone jewelry we have come across, with the condition very good considering its age.
We have not cleaned the ring in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
