Stylish vintage opal ring (circa 1970s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Five cabochon cut teardrop shaped opals measure 8mm x 5mm (estimated at 0.50 carats each - 2.50 carats total estimated weight). The opals are in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
The opals are set into an open mosaic design. The ring is great for day or evening wear. The opals exhibit a good color matrix with green, blue, turquoise, yellow and purple color flashes. The medium rise ring (11mm - 0.43 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition and was recently lightly cleaned and polished.
