Overview:
Finely detailed antique Arts & Crafts movement carnelian intaglio ring (circa 1910s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Carved carnelian measures 15mm x 12mm. The stone is in good condition with light wear evident under a 10x loupe.
The Arts & Crafts movement highlighted jewelry with a return to nature with flora and fauna prominent motifs. The carnelian intaglio highlights the side profile of a warrior. The side shoulders and under gallery featuring beautiful hand fabricated gold work in a leaf motif. The mount has a slightly curved saddle for a comfortable fit on the finger. The ring has a low profile, rising 6mm from the finger (0.23 inches).
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned the ring in order to preserve the patina and collector value.

Metal & Hallmark: 14 karat yellow gold. The ring is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for 14k gold.
