Antique Victorian Ring Opal Mine Cut Diamond Conversion Band 14k Yellow Gold

$985.00

Overview:

Originally an antique Victorian era stick pin (circa 1880s to 1900s), the opal & diamond ring is crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.

The ring is mounted with the original stick pin. Our jeweler rounded the stick pin into a slim band for the finger. The beautifully detailed ring is set with a natural opal to the center, surrounded with bright shimmering old mine cut diamonds.

Center set opal measures 4.5mm (estimated at 0.40 carats). Four old mine cut diamonds are estimated at 0.10 carats each. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.40 carats (estimated at I-J color and VS2-SI1 clarity). The opal is in very good condition and free or cracks or chips.

The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
