Elaborate antique Victorian diamond & opal crescent moon pendant crafted in 18 karat yellow gold (circa 1880s to 1900s)
12 old mine cut diamonds graduate in size and total an estimated 0.25 carats (estimated at J-K color and SI1-I1 clarity). The opal graduate in size from 1.5mm to 4mm.
Set into a classic crescent moon motif, the old mine cut diamonds glimmer, arranged to create a celestial effect, evoking a shimmering night sky. The opals glow with vivid colors flashes of green to turquoise, yellow and purple. The crescent moon motif holds a mystical and enduring charm with a timeless connection to the cosmic world. The piece was converted to a pendant from a brooch.
The pendant is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.

Metal & Hallmark: 18 karat yellow gold. The pendant is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for 18k gold. Note: the bale is 14k yellow gold.
