Overview:
Stylish vintage natural opal & diamond ring (circa 1950s to 1960s) crafted in 14 karat white gold.
Natural opal measures 15mm x 10mm (estimated at 6 carats). 16 round brilliant cut diamonds are estimated at 0.05 carats each and total an estimated 0.80 carats (estimated at G-H color and VS2-SI1 clarity). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
The opal is full of color and fire (opals are difficult to photograph and the true colors of the opal does not show in the pictures). The color matrix is vivid from mermaid green to purple, blue, yellow and turquoise. The statement ring adds a nice pop of color on the hand. The medium rise ring (8.5mm - 0.33 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
