Vintage 1981 Tiffany & Co Necklace Onyx Pearl Paloma Picasso Long 32" Strand

Stylish and finely detailed vintage Tiffany & Co onyx & pearl necklace, crafted in 18k yellow gold (circa 1981).

Onyx beads are uniform in size and measure 12mm each. The stones are in very good condition and free of cracks or chips. One large 20mm pearl is encased in 18k yellow gold.

The onyx beads are individually knotted for added security, with a large pearl adding color and contrast to the statement necklace. Paloma Picasso has a love of big gemstones and bold, big jewels. It's always great to come across the early work of a designer, with the necklace highlighting her love of bold jewelry, and so very 80s. A rare, wearable necklace and great collector piece.

The necklace is in very good original condition and was recently lightly cleaned and polished.
