Elegant and finely detailed antique Victorian swallow pendant & necklace (circa 1880s to 1900s), crafted in 14k yellow gold.
One estimated 0.15 carat old mine cut diamond is estimated at J-K color and SI2 clarity. The seed pearls measure (average) 1mm. The wings are set with navy blue enamel (note: slight chip to the enamel)
Swallows are a symbol of loyalty and love, choosing just one mate for life. Originally a brooch, we added a bale for wear as a pendant. The 14k yellow gold fine link chain is a recent addition to the piece. Great worn alone or layered with your fine jewelry from any era.
