Stylish 2.40ct natural cabochon sapphire & diamond ring crafted in 18k yellow gold & platinum.
Cabochon cut natural star sapphire, 2.40ct (9.5 x 6.5 x 3.6mm), dark green-blue color, nearly flawless, good polish and symmetry, Australian origin, no evidence of treatments. Surrounding the center sapphire is four (4) 3mm x 2mm lab sapphires. Eighteen old rose cut & single diamonds total an estimated 0.50 carats (G-J color/VS-I1 clarity).
The beautiful center set natural cabochon sapphire shows hints of green and is bezel set into the elongated mount. The ring has a curved saddle with a low profile (rises 6.5mm from the finger). The ring makes a nice statement on the hand, ideal for wear as an alternative engagement ring or right hand ring for everyday wear. An Art Deco era classic!
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.

Metal & Hallmark: 18k gold & platinum. The ring is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for 18k gold and platinum.
