Finely detailed vintage Art Deco diamond & sapphire ring (circa 1920s to 1930s) crafted in platinum.
Center set estimated 0.20 carat old European cut diamond is accented with 14 estimated 0.02 carat single cut diamonds. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.48 carats (estimated at H-I color and VS2-SI2 clarity). Eight French cut sapphires are estimated at 0.02 carats each (0.16 carats total estimated weight).
The stylish Art Deco era ring features a bright sparkling old European cut diamond to the center, accented with French cut sapphires and smaller single cut diamonds. The slightly raised band features lacy scrolled detailing. The ring would make a lovely vintage wedding band or right hand ring for everyday wear. The ring has a lower profile and rises 4mm from the finger (0.15 inches).
The ring is in good condition. We have not cleaned the ring in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
