Overview:
Elegant vintage diamond band (circa 1940s), crafted in 18 karat white gold and palladium.
Single cut diamonds are estimated at 0.01 carats each and total an estimated 0.10 carats (estimated at I-J color and VS2-SI2 clarity).
The simple and elegant ring is set with diamonds in a single row. The inner band is engraved though unfortunately some of the inscription is indiscernible (the date 5-14-44 is still readable). Palladium was used during WW2 as an alternative to platinum, when it was declared a strategic metal for the war effort.
The ring is in very good condition and was recently professionally cleaned and polished.
