Overview:
Finely detailed handmade antique Victorian gemstone engagement ring (circa 1890s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold and platinum.
One cushion shaped mixed cut natural sapphire, approx. 0.60ct (6.80 x 5.30 x 1.77mm), dark blue color, lightly included, good cut. Color and inclusions are typical of sapphire from Australia. There is no evidence of any treatments to the stone.
Twelve rose cut diamonds, total weight approx. 0.18ct, H-I color and SI-I1 clarity.
Also included: Estimate of Retail Selling Price New For Comparison Purposes: $1,700. The ring is in good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.

Metal & Hallmark: 14 karat yellow gold and platinum. The ring is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for 14k gold and platinum.
