Overview:
Stylish antique Edwardian moonstone & diamond ring (circa 1900s to 1910s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Cabochon cut moonstones each measure 8mm (estimated 3 carats each - 6 carats total estimated weight) accented with 19 estimated 0.12 carat old mine cut diamonds. The total diamond weight is estimated at 2.28 carats (estimated at I-J color and VS2-SI2 clarity). The moonstones are in very good condition and free of cracks or chips. Note: the moonstones are well matching with one a slightly higher domed cut.
The moonstones cast a lunar glow with beautiful blue color flashes evident with every movement of the ring. Shimmering old mine cut diamonds border the moonstones in a double halo design. The medium rise ring (7mm - 0.27 inches) sits comfortably on the finger. Great for wear as an alternative engagement ring or right hand ring for everyday wear.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
