Overview:
Stylish vintage Cartier garnet necklace crafted in sterling silver and 18 karat yellow gold (circa 1970s).
One garnets measures 10mm x 7.5mm. The garnet is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
Designed in the Art Deco style, the necklace highlights the structural clean lines of the era. The 1970s era necklace is a Cartier classic, and we were lucky enough to acquire the earrings also (listed separately). Measuring 15 inches in length the necklace is designed as a choker to sit at the nape of the neck.
The necklace is in good condition with patina evident. We have not cleaned the necklace in order to preserve the patina and collector value. It can be buffed and polished if desired.
