Finely detailed vintage Art Deco amethyst cocktail ring (circa 1920s to 1930s) crafted in 18 karat white gold.
Kite shaped amethyst measures 27mm x 18mm. Note: light surface abrasions to the amethyst (visible under a 10x loupe).
The striking kite shaped Art Deco era ring is adorned with a large faceted amethyst to the center, bordered with small natural wired seed pearls. The lacy filigree mount is a hallmark of Art Deco era jewelry with crisp details including embossed flowers and intricate openwork design. Appliques of yellow & rose gold foliate motifs adorn three points on the mount. The ring has a medium profile and rises 11mm from the finger (0.43 inches).
The ring is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
