Overview:
Stylish vintage boulder opal & diamond cocktail ring (circa 1970s to 1980s) crafted in 14 karat white gold.
Natural boulder opal measures 14mm x 10mm (estimated at 4.50 carats) is accented with 16 round brilliant cut diamonds totaling an estimated 0.80 carats (estimated at H-I color and SI1-I1 clarity). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
The natural opal shows a vivid color matrix, with strong flashes of green and blue and hints of yellow and purple. The classic oval princess style is great for wear as an alternative gemstone engagement ring or right hand ring for everyday wear. The medium rise ring (7.5mm - 0.29 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
