Stylish vintage natural opal cocktail ring (circa 1970s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Cabochon cut natural opal measures 12mm x 8mm (estimated at 3.50 carats) is accented with an estimated 0.06 carats of diamonds (estimated at J-K color and I2 clarity). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips (some light surface abrasions from wear).
The natural opal is cabochon cut in a medium dome. The color matrix is vibrant with flashes of green, orange, yellow, turquoise and blue. In natural sunshine the opal really lights up with a kaleidoscope of colors. The medium rise ring (7mm - 0.27 inches) sits comfortably on the finger. The colorful ring is impactful in design and ideal worn day or night.
