Overview:
Stylish vintage diamond Bombe ring (circa 1960s) crafted in 18 karat yellow gold.
12 round brilliant cut diamonds total an estimated 1.30 carats (estimated at H-I color and VS2-SI1 clarity).
The French made ring highlights the 'Bombe' style, a popular form of design during the 1950s and 1960s. The finely detailed rope design swirls in a domed mount, with diamonds adding sparkle and fire. The rope detailing extends around the entire band. A great example of mid-century French made jewelry, the cocktail ring makes a bold statement on the hand and is ideal for day or evening wear. The medium rise ring (13mm - 0.51 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
