Elegant & finely detailed Belais Art Deco era ring (circa 1920s to 1930s) crafted in 14k white gold.
Cabochon cut Ethiopian opal measures 15mm x 8.5mm (estimated at 4.50 carats). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
Belais Brothers is a highly regarded and very collectible maker from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. The ring epitomizes vintage charm and would make a lovely alternative engagement ring or right hand ring for everyday wear. The ring features etched foliate detailing and intricate filigree work, a hallmark of Art Deco era jewelry. The opal is a later addition to the ring.
