Overview:
Elaborate vintage Art Deco era medallion (circa 1923) crafted in 9 karat yellow gold.
The beautifully detailed medallion dates to 1923 (just shy of 100 years old!), designed with a raised shield motif to both sides. Medallions were popular around the 1900s along with watch chains and fobs. The medallion/pendant is in very good condition with patina evident. Great for wear on a chain with a larger 5mm bale that can accommodate a thicker chain if desired. The pendant is engraved "T.D.B.L 1923-4 T.W.M.C"
We have not cleaned the piece in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
