Stylish vintage opal & diamond cocktail ring (circa 1970s to 1980s) crafted in 14 karat white gold.
Natural opal measures 20mm x 15mm (estimated at 14.50 carats) is accented with 20 estimated 0.02 carat round brilliant cut diamonds. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.40 carats (estimated at H-I color and VS2-SI1 clarity). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
The natural opal shows a strong color matrix, with flashes of green, yellow, purple, turquoise and orange. Large in scale, the cocktail ring makes a great statement on the hand. The medium rise ring (10mm - 0.39 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition and was recently lightly cleaned and polished.
