Stylish vintage natural opal & diamond ring (circa 1960s to 1970s) crafted in 14 karat white gold.
Cabochon cut pear shaped natural opal measures 10mm x 7mm (estimated at 1.50 carats). 12 round brilliant cut diamonds are estimated at 0.02 carats each and total an estimated 0.24 carats (estimated at I-J color and SI1-I1 clarity). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
The opal dances with a soft sea green base and hints of purple and turquoise. The distinct pear-shaped design and diamond surround is medium sized in scale and makes a great day to evening cocktail ring. The medium rise ring (13mm - 0.51 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
