Moonstone Turquoise Victorian Ring 14k Yellow Gold 3 Stone Fine Antique Jewelry

$2,170.00

Overview:

Stylish antique Victorian moonstone & turquoise ring (circa 1880s to 1900s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.

Cabochon cut moonstone measures 9mm x 7mm (estimated at 3 carats), accented with two cabochon cut pieces of turquoise measuring 7mm x 5mm (estimated at 1.25 carats each - 2.50 carats total estimated weight). The stones are in very good condition and free or cracks or chips (light surface abrasions from normal wear visible under a 10x loupe)

The combination of moonstone and turquoise is striking, with the moonstone exhibiting a beautiful glow with every movement of the ring. The classic three stone claw setting, popular during the Victorian era, is great for day or evening wear. The medium rise ring (7mm - 0.27 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.

The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
