Overview:
Stylish opal & diamond a'flip' ring crafted in 14 karat yellow gold (circa 1980s to 1990s).
Natural cabochon cut opal measures 32mm x 14mm (estimated at 14 carats). Two small estimated 0.02 carat diamonds adorn the side shoulders (0.04 ctw - H-I color and SI2 clarity). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
Large in scale, the oval cut opal displays a vibrant spectrum of colors from bright green to purple, turquoise, orange, red and yellow. The unique design of the ring allows the oval mount to move in 360 degree motion, with the ring sitting flat and comfortably on the finger. The ring has a low rise (6mm - 0.23 inches).
The ring is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
