Overview:
Stylish and finely detailed Egyptian Revival pendant crafted in 18 karat yellow gold (circa 1920s to 1930s).
Single cut diamonds total an estimated 0.08 carats (estimated at H-I color and SI1-I1 clarity).
The elaborate and beautifully detailed pendant (also wearable as a brooch) features a Pharaoh to the center, with enameled wings and Lotus flowers framing the sides and base. Egyptian themed jewelry was all the rage in the 1920s after the discovery of Tutankhamun's Tomb in 1922. The design inspiration from the discovery of the Tomb fueled a love of jewelry in the Egyptian style that still continues today.
The pendant is in good condition. We have not cleaned the piece in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
