Overview:
Finely detailed Egyptian pendant (circa 1960s to 1970s), crafted in 18 karat yellow gold.
Lapis lazuli measures 9mm x 7mm (in very good condition and free or cracks or chips).
The elaborate pendant is beautifully detailed with various Egyptian symbols. The Eye of Horus is enameled in shades of blue, a symbol of protection against envy, disease and evil spirits. A winged scarab, one of the most popular amulets, is a symbol of death, rebirth, and protection in the afterlife. The base of the pendant features a fringe of movable enameled charms. The pendant is large in scale and makes a great statement when worn.
The pendant is in very good original condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
