Stylish natural jelly opal & diamond cocktail ring crafted in 900 platinum.
Cabochon cut natural jelly opal, 3.15 carats (11.33 x 7.29 x 6.31mm). The opal is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips. The opal exhibits a strong play of colors from blue to green, turquoise, orange yellow and bits of red. Surrounding the opal is 10 full cut round diamonds, total weight approx. 0.25ct, G-H color, VS-SI qualities, good cuts.
The jelly opal lights up in natural sunlight, with interchangeable colors as alluring as confetti. Jelly opals have a wonderous watery like appearance showing strong color flashes with every movement of the ring. The cocktail ring is medium in scale and makes a nice statement on the hand. The medium rise ring (13mm - 0.51 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
