Overview:
Stylish French antique Victorian sapphire & diamond ring (circa 1890s to 1900s) crafted in 18 karat yellow gold.
Square cushion cut blue sapphire measures 7mm x 6mm (estimated at 1.25 carats). Two estimated 0.12 carat old mine cut diamonds total an estimated 0.24 carats (estimated at I-J color and SI2-I2 clarity). The sapphire shows light surface abrasions visible under a 10x loupe.
The three stone 'trilogy' mount represents the past, present and future. The band has a solid feel on the hand at 9.1 grams and is great worn alone or layered with your fine jewelry from any era. The low rise ring (3.5mm - 0.13 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
