Overview:
Finely detailed vintage folding picture locket (circa 1960s), crafted in 14k yellow gold.
The beautifully detailed locket opens to accommodate 4 photos, with a diamond set to the front of the envelope. Lockets have been popular for a long time and particularly during the Victorian era. They are a wonderful piece of jewelry to honor loved ones with a photo or special keepsake. Two of the central picture frames are open (without plastic or glass). With a Florentine finish the locket is ideal worn as a pendant on a chain or worn as a charm on a bracelet. Weighing 18.9 grams the locket has a hefty feel to the touch.
The locket is in good condition showing light wear. We have not cleaned the locket in order to preserve the patina and collector value.

Stones: One small diamond is set into the front of the locket (0.01 carat - estimated I-J color and SI2 clarity).
Size & Measurements: The locket measures 1.08 x 0.90 inches. Fully retracted, the locket measures 3 1/4 inches.
Metal & Hallmark: 14 karat yellow gold. The locket is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for 14 karat gold.
