 Dramatic vintage Art Deco era rock crystal necklace (circa 1920s to 1930s), crafted in sterling silver.

A total of 35 rock crystal orbs measure 12mm (average) each. The undrilled orbs are wire mounted securely onto the sterling silver chain. The rock crystal is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.

The notion that drilling a hole through a perfect sphere would destroy its magical properties, allowing evil spirits to enter the stone. Quartz is long thought to have a spiritual connection. The crystal ball has been popular for centuries and thus gave rise to the 'Pools of Light' necklace.
